The Mary L. Wilcox Library is a member of the Four County Library System serving Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties.

Library Cards: May be obtained at the Library and are free for all residents of Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties. Proper identification required adults. Parent / guardian signature required for children.
Loan Period: Books, magazines and audiobooks will be loaned for three weeks. DVDs will be loaned for a period of one week.
Renewals: Materials may be renewed for an additional three weeks if there are no reserves waiting with the exception of DVDs. DVDs may not be renewed. Renewals may be made by phone or via the 4CLS website (if the material is not already overdue).
Overdues: Fines for overdue materials are as follows;
- Books, magazines and audiobooks are $0.10 per day
- DVDs are $1.00 per day
Returns: Books, magazines and audiobooks may be returned to the Librarian during Library hours or placed in the Book Return when the Library is closed. Please do not return DVDs in the Book Return – they are easily damaged. Books taken out from other libraries within the Four County Library System (4CLS) may also be returned here.
Interlibrary Loans: Materials not owned by the Mary L. Wilcox Memorial Library may be available at one of the other 4CLS libraries. Items can be requested to be delivered to the Mary Wilcox Library and you will be notified when they have arrived. The Librarian can order items for you or you may also go online to the 4CLS website (www.4cls.org) and request materials from the online catalogs to be delivered locally.
Ebooks and Audiobooks: Your library card allows you access to thousands of downloadable eBooks and audiobooks using the overdrive app through the 4CLS website. If you need help setting up your eReader or smart phone to use these services, our staff is available to help.
Online Databases: Your library card also allows you access to a large number of online databases through the 4CLS website. Options range from Ancestry.com (available only on a library computer), to ABC Mouse. For a full list, please visit www.4cls.org and click on “Research Center”
Tioughnioga Meeting Room: The meeting room in the Library is available for use. Please contact the Library to schedule a meeting or event.
